For those of us who follow cricket in the Caribbean closely, it is well known that our young players tend to loose interest in the game after they graduate from the Leeward Islands under 15 competition. In some quarters it is felt that this is due to the gap that exists between U15 and U19 tournaments. With this in mind, Mr. Keeth Arthurton a former West Indies cricketer prepared a training program for 20 players under the age of 17, for which he received sponsorship support from the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis.
